Marc Thomsen completes Broker's Licensing

Marc Thomsen, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty in Port Angeles, recently passed the Washington State Real Estate Broker’s examination.  Marc has been with Coldwell Banker for over 7 years, and was awarded agent of the month last May. 

In order to become an Associate Broker, an agent must complete four classes that total 120 clock hours of instruction and must be an active sales agent for at least two years.

The classes include 30 clock hours in real estate law, 30 clock hours in brokerage management, 30 clock hours in business management, and a 30 hour course in an approved elective. Additionally, a two part state exam must be successfully completed, which can take up to 4 hours to complete!  Congratulations to Marc!
