Brooke Nelson completes "House Key and Down Payment Assistance Traning."

Brooke Nelson, a Realtor for Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty recently completed the “House Key and Down Payment Assistance Training” provided by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission.  This training will allow Nelson to teach classes tailored to first time homebuyers on the Peninsula. 

The classes are part of a state bond program which provides funding to those whose income meets the House Key program’s requirements.  The intent is to provide knowledge to homebuyers so they may qualify to purchase homes with a lower interest rate and possibly with down payment assistance.

Brooke states, “I am relieved such programs exist and that they are now available on the Peninsula for people to benefit from.  I am very excited to educate more people so they can realize their home ownership dreams.”
