Jim Wahlsten becomes Co-Owner of Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty

PORT ANGELES, WA, December 31, 2009 – Jim Wahlsten, current Broker, has been named Owner of Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty headquartered in Port Angeles, WA. Change will take effect as of January 1, 2010 where Wahlsten will assume his role as owner as well as remain in his position as Broker.

Dan Gase sold his shares to Wahlsten after 20 years in the real estate industry, the last ten and a half years with Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty. Gase will continue working as a commercial real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty and remain in partnership with Jerry Nichols. Gase is pleased to have Wahlsten take over his role as owner and join in partnership with Jerry Nichols.

Wahlsten has been in the real estate industry for the last ten years. Since then, he has earned an astounding number of awards and designations such as recipient of the Joe Melton Spirit Award in 2007 and twice presented with the International Sterling Society Award. Wahlsten was named Port Angeles Association of Realtors (P.A.A.R.) Realtor of the Year for 2006 after serving as President in 2006 and Secretary of P.A.A.R. Board of Directors for the years 2004 and 2005. Wahlsten is currently serving as the P.A.A.R. MLS Committee Chairperson for the year of 2009.
